Time for new blogskin!! Pinkish and cheery! :)

Finally got down to doing up the guestlist and sending out SMS invitations!! I even spent the whole national day holiday sieving out photos for the montage. Am so proud MAX of myself! :D

Attendance of the guests seemed pretty good so far! Then again it's still early. Am pretty sure nearing the date or even the day itself there will be at least 10% attrition rate.

See that's the the thing, you invite too early, people might not mark down the date (even when they enthusiastically confirm their attendance), cos that's just human nature assuming there will be a 2nd reminder nearing the date. Which there will be since that's just how it goes isn't it? Invite 3 months in advance, then a reminder one month before, then another maybe 1 week before and a final one the day before. And in these 3 months, holiday plans will bound to pop up, especially since our wedding day falls on a long weekend. So invited guest unintentionally book a trip somewhere, and before you know it, when you do the one month before reminder thingy, they'll be like omg!!sorry can't make it cos I'm flying somewhere! So there u go, I don't know why must invite so early LOL.

But then again, when you invite too late, not only people think you bo xim, but chances are they have already genuinely made plans for holidays, cos like, not everyone is going to sit around and wait for a wedding invite y'know? so it's your own fault for being so last minute.

Haiz, looks like no win-win situation after all. Lol.

Am praying hard for no drop outs! And it seemed like we might need to max out 30 tables cos everytime I look through the list, I'll be like omg!we forgot A and B! Or omg! We need to invite C and D! So the lists magically gets longer :/

But it's through this planning I realize just how big each side of our relatives are. Especially his. He has close to 11 tables, I have 8 tables. It already adds up to 19!! Thank goodness we have church to spill some friends over. So if you only get a church invite, it doesn't mean you are less important hor. Anyway usually you bao lesser for church angbao so can save some money? Hur ok, bad joke. Let's just pray for no hiccups!

The only thing left untouched is the wedding program. Oh and the printing of cards. and maybe hiring of a live band. Oh shoots and the gown not chosen too! And no wedding car yet! Oh mannn :( Eeeps. So much for thinking almost everything is settled.

Instead of looking forward to the big day, I can't wait for it to be over!! Lol! Looking forward more to the new journey ahead :)
