Cobwebs much?

It's been awhile.....

So it has been ages since I last updated. One year and about 3 months to be exact. And what better way to revive my blog than to do it on my birthday?

Yup that's right. Yours truly turned 31 today! Thirtyfreakingoneyears. YIKES. Where did all the time go? Last I blogged here, I was only 29 -___-

So much has happened in this time lost. Moved into my new place, went through a full year of a team lead role at my workplace, discovered that maybe sales management isn't for me (yet), made the decision to step down, and now here I am, blogging with my once again new found free time.

So as u can see, 2013 pretty much involves quite abit of working in my new role, I had no time for anything. After work hours was paper work. Weekends was finishing paper work. Working hours was chasing sales and coaching people AND paperwork. Perhaps it was all the paperwork that put me off? But I was highly stressed and was losing hair :(

So this year, I made the decision to take it easy, spend time with the Hubby and perhaps start family planning?I believe God has a plan for me. But for now, I need a breather this year to count my blessings, appreciate the people whom I care about around me and take care of my health. I've signed up with another type of yoga, so no more bikram for me! Bikram gave me a good start on improving my flexibility since i started out stiff like a block of wood, but I feel I'm ready for more challenging poses. Because of work, I had to give up taking on a yoga teacher training course last year. I do hope I will find time (and money) to do it some time soon after my practice improves.

Hubs will be traveling a lot more this year for training camps and competitions but for once, he's spending my birthday with me here in Singapore and we had such a great time in Perth! Makes me feel like I could just live there forever and not bother about work. But he's flying off tmr for 3 weeks :( so it's time alone again for me. Bleh.

But he's been the sweetest, booking a staycation for me in a lovely room at MBS :) Hopefully this wouldn't be a one off entry and the next time I blog, it will be my 32nd birthday (heaven forbid).

Happy birthday to me and I hope 2014 will be a much more self fulfilling year in all aspects, having more time with the people I love, for myself, for yoga and for family planning :) All in its time and trust in the Lord! ❤️

SURPLISEEEEEeeee!!!

Belated vday prezzie from the hubs! Disclaimer: I did not niam him into buying for me ok. SUMPA.

I just complained a couple of times my wallet is getting old. HURS. Which IS true. As u can see in the corner of the pic, my turquoise Prada wallet has served me easily almost a good 5 years. And I must say, other than the color running slightly and some dirt stains, the quality is quite good! Stitching all still intact! So a good brand worth investing for a wallet. Hopefully this Chanel will last, since it costs almost three times the Prada. Yikes. But the hubs got someone to buy from France, so still cheaper than in SG.

Loves!!!<3

Nothing exciting this week, and OMG. Sunday in 45 mins time. Why do I go through this every week :( Not that I hate my job, but........why work when u can nua right. HAHA. Ok this coming week I'm particularly not looking forward to cos it's closing month. Zzzzzzz.

I need divine intervention for my sales.

Happy Sunday!

After sunday morning bikram!

Sweaty and loving it :)

But also the end of weekend, so not loving it :(

Had a nice chill out session with hub's friends in their new home. Makes me excited to have my own too! But it's abit of mixed feelings actually, the thought of moving out and not staying with my dad saddens me too :( Ever since the passing of my mom, my brothers and I have grown so much closer to my dad, and even though he can be a grumps (as most dads are), he's also one of the sweetest, simple man with a heart of gold. Awwww.

So anyway, the hubs and I are really lazy in looking for ideas for our house so we're leaving it into the hands of a friend who's a architect/ID so hopefully she can come up with something nice for our humble home!

Countdown to the weekend starts again........

Happy 2013 everyone!

XIN NIAN KUAI LE!!!!

Like OMG the last post I had here was waaayyyy back in November! Who still blogs anyway? These days it's all about Facebook, twitter and Instagram which sadly, the swaku in me only has one out of 3. No points for guessing which. It probably might take me another 10 years to subscribe to those since I'm such a creature of comfort which translates into great amount of inertia to learn anything new, especially if it involves techies. Even my Facebook account had to be created for me by my best friend lol.

So anyway, happy new year to all and hope 2013 has been treating u guys well! 2012 has been a kind year to me in most aspects and I Thank God for all His blessings upon me:) Hopefully 2013 will be equally kind and so far, no complains! Work wise, I have a new role and I do hope I can excel in it. Hubs and I also made the decision to move into our place this year so come May, we might possibly be living on our own! Exciting change but its about time to grow out of our comfort zone if we are planning a family of our own soon, hopefully by 31 so that gives me slightly less than 2 years to conceive. YIKES. With so many stories surrounding me of difficulty in conceiving, it does scares me a little that it might happen to me too, but oh well, Trust in God and everything in its time :) I would like my in laws and dad to have their grandchildren too!

Also I've picked up bikram yoga and I'm loving it! 6 months back I was deciding between a few classes so my reviews so far are: power plates are kinda gimmicky, Pilates was good enough to correct my posture and increase my body awareness in 15 classes, and bikram has become a lifestyle that allows me to feel healthier each day! I'm kind of a type A personality so I need to be involved in activities that are goal-oriented and allows me to see results. So far bikram fits my criteria and each session I'm craving to improve my poses and flexibility. Call it psychological if you will, but I do feel leaner and more taut! My diet has also become cleaner and I find myself drinking more water to hydrate myself as each class I sweat like a pig. No kidding. But I do feel detoxified after each session. So yup, I signed on an annual unlimited package and I do hope to go at least 5 times a week, if not everyday, discounting my once a week netball and occasional swims. And the good thing is, if I do get pregnant, they will halt the package and resume when you are ready to practice again. Reasonable deal, no?

So yup, looks like 2013 seemed like a rather fulfilling year ahead, so bring it on! New role, new home, new exercise lifestyle. Like wise for hubby, who's gunning to be in the SEA games squad this year so good luck to us!

Happy Valentine's Day to all! And no, my smelly hubs said no celebration to save money. Zzzzz. Although he did promise a belated gift. We shall wait and see.

Happy weekend!

Woah it's been AGES since I last came here, I almost forgot I had a blog. Blame iCloud, for stupid me thought backing up on it was enough when I exchanged for a refurbished phone but when I tried to restore, 1/4 of my apps went missing, together with my photos and music.

I is SAD MAX :(

I should have used the trusty old iTunes for backing up. iCloud is so not for a non techie like myself.

So anyway, in the months that I went missing.....

TAAADDDAAAHHHH!!!

Like OMG no more braces!!!! :D

But sian la, not alot of people noticed. Obviously my braces were so embedded into my smile that people were starting to think the braces were my teeth.

BUT HOW DIFFERENT CAN!!!

Compare this.....

............ With this!!!!!!

Different to the max la please.

Scary face but pretty teeth, so who cares right wahahaha.

Now I'm waiting a week for my retainers I hope my teeth doesn't shift much. But my teeth moves really fast my entire duration for braces is slightly less than a year!!!

Yay Long weekend ahead!!!!:)

Thank you my love!:)

I love surprises like this :)

But then again, surprises like these don't happen all the time. Usually it's after a fight lol.

As much as I hate fighting with the hubs cos I can become rather dramatic and unable to control my rage, it's the post fight make up that makes u feel all lovey dovey again. Although that phase might not last very long lol.

I guess that's what marriage is all about.....

Yup that's us :)

2 more months and we are one year into our marriage. Time really flies!:)

10th month of my dental visit. Almost a year!!! Hopefully I can get it out by year end. It would have been 1 year 2 months?

Yay gaps are closing up!

Have been trying a couple of exercises lately and I can't decide which is the best for me. Am looking to tone up without losing weight, build muscles without bulking up and flatten my best friend, the tummy lol.

I signed up for power plates cos I felt working out on a vibrating plate seemed like an interesting experience and will supposedly help prevent injuries and make your muscles work harder cos the vibration of the plates causes your muscles to contract faster per min, hence making a 45 min workout far more effective than say, running for an hr? Plus they have different types of classes with various intensity, ranging from Pilates to aerobics and even Zumba!

I'm also on a 10 day trial for bikram yoga and honestly, I don't fancy the heat cos it makes me feel oppressed but the 26 postures in high temp which they make you do in will help stretch and relax your muscles and ultimately tone u up? So I shall persevere and wait for the outcome.

Lastly, I'm still looking for Pilates trial classes to attend and I'm hoping to sign up for reformer Pilates using equipments cos I feel the mat work is kinda similar to yoga. It's supposed to help tone and build muscles.

So many to try, and I can't decide!! And the classes are expensive so I can't afford to sign up for all. Bummer.

3 day work week coming up woooots!!

The hubs and I attending a wedding at intercontinental :)

Parking is a bitch but I like the ballroom!!

Federer vs Murray AGAIN tonight for the Olympics men's singles finals. Pls don't disappoint federer!!! Your career is only missing an Olympics gold!!!
