XIN NIAN KUAI LE!!!!
Like OMG the last post I had here was waaayyyy back in November! Who still blogs anyway? These days it's all about Facebook, twitter and Instagram which sadly, the swaku in me only has one out of 3. No points for guessing which. It probably might take me another 10 years to subscribe to those since I'm such a creature of comfort which translates into great amount of inertia to learn anything new, especially if it involves techies. Even my Facebook account had to be created for me by my best friend lol.
So anyway, happy new year to all and hope 2013 has been treating u guys well! 2012 has been a kind year to me in most aspects and I Thank God for all His blessings upon me:) Hopefully 2013 will be equally kind and so far, no complains! Work wise, I have a new role and I do hope I can excel in it. Hubs and I also made the decision to move into our place this year so come May, we might possibly be living on our own! Exciting change but its about time to grow out of our comfort zone if we are planning a family of our own soon, hopefully by 31 so that gives me slightly less than 2 years to conceive. YIKES. With so many stories surrounding me of difficulty in conceiving, it does scares me a little that it might happen to me too, but oh well, Trust in God and everything in its time :) I would like my in laws and dad to have their grandchildren too!
Also I've picked up bikram yoga and I'm loving it! 6 months back I was deciding between a few classes so my reviews so far are: power plates are kinda gimmicky, Pilates was good enough to correct my posture and increase my body awareness in 15 classes, and bikram has become a lifestyle that allows me to feel healthier each day! I'm kind of a type A personality so I need to be involved in activities that are goal-oriented and allows me to see results. So far bikram fits my criteria and each session I'm craving to improve my poses and flexibility. Call it psychological if you will, but I do feel leaner and more taut! My diet has also become cleaner and I find myself drinking more water to hydrate myself as each class I sweat like a pig. No kidding. But I do feel detoxified after each session. So yup, I signed on an annual unlimited package and I do hope to go at least 5 times a week, if not everyday, discounting my once a week netball and occasional swims. And the good thing is, if I do get pregnant, they will halt the package and resume when you are ready to practice again. Reasonable deal, no?
So yup, looks like 2013 seemed like a rather fulfilling year ahead, so bring it on! New role, new home, new exercise lifestyle. Like wise for hubby, who's gunning to be in the SEA games squad this year so good luck to us!
Happy Valentine's Day to all! And no, my smelly hubs said no celebration to save money. Zzzzz. Although he did promise a belated gift. We shall wait and see.
Happy weekend!
