So happy there's 2 days of holidays before starting work! But I can foresee myself feeling really blue tomorrow. And then I will have to look forward to Chinese new year in 3 weeks lol. Time for shopping!:D
I believe that's how I get by each year, looking forward to holidays lol! So far we have only planned a Phuket trip end march. And that's not even our honeymoon! We really have to get down to deciding a place. We've shortlisted Maldives, Tokyo and London (Olympics!!). Problem is we're both lazy planners.
So anyway, career wise it's a new port folio so hopefully it's achievable even though it's gonna be much much more challenging :( but every year no matter how tough, God has always been pulling me through, so I pray I will survive this year again! If not....... Greener pastures? Haha.
As for our family, I pray everyone stays healthy, esp my dad who's getting old and my younger bro going into army. As for hubs and myself, we shall let nature takes its course :D
No new year resolutions la, given up on that cos it never happens. Or maybe I've never really made them before cos I know I can't really follow. But now that I'm married, I do hope to be more patient and forgiving because my life doesn't just revolve around myself anymore! Need to be less bratty haha! But yes, very thankful for hubs for keeping me grounded. Instead of retaliating now, I go one corner and sulk so it's an improvement yo! Hurhur.
And as they all say, 2012 could potentially be a year where the world ends and my brother was telling us to travel less to places prone to natural disasters. I seriously think if the world is meant to end, or your time has come, it doesn't really matter where you go! It is kinda scary when u think about it, like, would u rather the world end from a natural disaster? Having an asteroid hit earth and wiping out our species like how it did to the dinosaurs? Or a potent strain of virus that causes us to foam and bleed from our eyes and nose and the next moment you are dead?Contagion did scare me a little. After all, there are new strains and diseases mutating and making its appearance every year. Mad cow, bird flu, SARS, H1N1......what's next?
Ok not good to sound morbid on the 1st day of the new year lol. Let's just learn to love our loved ones everyday and treat all humankind (and animals too!) with respect. That way even when the world ends, you die a happy soul with no regrets lol.
