Books to last me till Maldives!:)

Hopefully I won't finish all the books before I even leave for my trip lol. I really love the conventional books and the feel of flipping the pages. I'm currently reading redeeming love, a really touching biblical story of how a man turned a cold hearted prostitute towards God and renewed her faith by loving her unconditionally. I actually read it 2 years back but I love the story so much I'm reading it again!! I found the other books in the hub's collections in his living room. Apparently his family are avid readers.

His dad highly recommended this:

A genetic world going out of control?

And finally this:

Yes, I'm such a sucker teehee.

I used to love reading so much, especially the sweet valley twins/high series. I think probably due to our generation having less access to the Internet and social media hence we have more time for reading books?

With Facebook, twitter, iPads and iPhones made so easily available and accessible in this new age of technology, it's no wonder book stores like borders and page one has to be shut down. Where will kids these days have time for a good read when they are so engulfed in a world of social media? Everywhere u see a kid on the bus or mrt busy tweeting, facebooking, whatsapping or recently, drawing something away. Pretty sad. No wonder weird terminologies are sprouting out from their mouths. Call me old fashioned if they wish, but frankly speaking they sound queer. Some of them doesn't even make grammatical sense. Makes listening or reading their blogs kinda cringe worthy.

But I shall leave that for another day.

Back to my books!
