Not the channel newsasia one, but the one asking people to like the picture if u're against child abuse. Seems like this is the trend of Facebook recently. A useless trend, I may add.
You know how we used to get spams to forward mails or smses to spread the word about some donation or campaign? As annoying as it can be, you can't deny that it might eventually reached someone who might actually be able or willing to help or donate to some cause.
But liking a page? Like seriously?? So what if you like the picture of the abused child? How are you helping in any sense? It's like, oh dear, this little girl looks so cute, but poor thing, she has a bruised eye. Let me like it!
Then you click and move on.
And what happens to the poor little girl with bruised eye?
NOTHING.
So really, these people should stop creating pictures and asking people to like it when it serves no
purpose at all. Except maybe self gratification for starting it and tracking the number of likes it can garner.
Really damn nonsense. I rather a spam to ask for help to adopt the little kid or something. Seriously, social media might help increase awareness in events and happenings around the world, but it also increases redundancy and stupidity in mankind.
Like stop it already! We need a dislike button for Facebook. Mark zuckerberg pls do something about it.
On a totally random note, hunger games is AWESOME!!:D
